Can't Wait...
Preen x Aldo - Rise
October will mark the fourth release of Preen's collaboration with Aldo. As much as I am guilty of dropping an obscene amount of money on a pair of runway fresh heels; it's always nice when I can get a piece of my favorite designers for less. Because let's face it every time I splurge I'm not eating for a week or so.
Full of wonderful colour, the shoes will be the perfect pop to an outfit for this fall.

On My Mind...
Tartan
has been around for ages but it's usually found on flannel shirts or something for the horse. This year for F/W it's everywhere and I'm loving it. Each designer has of course done there own take on the classic print and I have to say I don't think I have found a version I'm not up for.

Daily Ritual
Over the years I have cut out a lot of "daily rituals" that at one point I found to be important. However there are a couple I have kept. For instance I think it's very important for people to find a great skincare system that works for them. My mum always says, "if you don't take care of your skin there's no point in wasting money on clothes." I find this statement harsh but very true because I know whenever I'm having a bad skin day it doesn't matter what I put on all I can concentrate on is my skin. My ritual consists of only three products. The more products you have to use the less likely you are to stick to your routine.

Inspiration
When I think of the time and effort I put into getting ready each and everyday, sometimes twice a day if I'm going out in the evening, I go a little cray. Yes, it's worth it in a way because to me fashion is a form of expression and I couldn't imagine a world without all the gorgeous designs we see daily. However, when I see a twist done on how we look at wardrobe essentials it makes me think about the little things in life.

Acne F/W '13
Even though I don't want summer to end, I'm still looking forward to the fashion. Fall is the best time of year for it I believe. There's just so many items you can have fun with. Here are some of my favs from Acne Studios.

There's nothing better in the fall/winter then a great cashmere. So comfy/cozy and works in so many different ways. I especially like how Acne has styled the Misty Cashmere in the right-hand picture.

Seafoam for the fall; how exciting!! This jacket is beautiful and the perfect length. It looks sensational over the all white outfit in the picture, even though we are ingrained with the idea of not wearing white after Labour Day, designers are pushing that notion out of our heads. I say bring it on!

Daily Essentials
I don't remember the last time I left the house without wearing these items. I am absolutely in love with all of them. Each is simple on their own but when worn all together they look great. The knuckle rings are my latest addition. I wear two of them together on one finger and then the other on my other hand. The only problem I face now is the danger of adding more rings because I have to admit I love the way that layered-ring-trend looks!

Music To End The Work Day With...
Tried very hard to find a video that wasn't live because the sound isn't as good. However, it was impossible. Anyway, I hope you can hear it enough to know why it's my song choice for today. I recommend listening to the mp3 after or instead so you can really hear Joel's voice and the music. Perfect for closing out the work day!

This pant is literally a life saver for the summer! I love the mixture of patterned fabric. Plus they are such a light cotton, it basically feels like your wearing nothing on a hot summer's day. Perfect for work or that hot concert on the weekend. I feel like I've basically lived in these all summer long.
